How I work
Processing the past: As kids, we all develop strategies to cope with strong emotions or challenging environments. Many of us internalize messages that we’re too much, or not good enough. I use a trauma-informed perspective that honors the impact of early attachments and family dynamics. Together, let’s investigate how your past experiences influence how you react today.
Exploring the present: As a relational therapist, I’m interested in the therapist/client dynamic, and may explore about how it mirrors or differs from other relationships in your life.
Imagining the future: Let’s envision a life aligned with your values, and develop strategies to get there. My goal is to have you leave therapy feeling heard, understood, and empowered to make new choices that work for you.
